Wellness Corporate Solutions has a fantastic opportunity for individuals to work as Phlebotomists performing full blood draws representing WCS at corporate health events. Screening events typically include a full blood draw, blood pressure, and body composition.  Position is on an as needed basis as events in your area are available. You will join the WCS national network as a W2 part-time employee.

Requirements:

• MUST be able to pass a background check and drug test
• License to draw blood per state requirements
• Recent experience performing venipuncture
• Prior experience of over 100+ blood draws
• Experience in a lab with  high volume blood draws preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced corporate office setting
• Drawing blood in one draw, possible drawing over 40 participants during a 4-5 hour event.
• Determine blood pressure measurement using both manual and automatic cuffs
• Calculate body composition, including: height, weight, waist circumference, BMI and percent body fat using the Omron Body fat Analyzer
• Work well in a team setting
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor under all circumstances
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPPA regulations
• Reliable form of transportation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical, health or fitness related field
• Qualified candidates may include (but not limited to) the following: MA, CMA, RN, LPN, EMT, paramedic, Phlebotomist (full or partial or the equivalent with appropriate current certification and/or licensure in the state of practice and 2-3 years of experience drawing blood in a laboratory).
