Welcome to TGE Volunteer Registration
The Great Escape, 18-20 May 2017
Each year we offer up to 300 volunteers the chance to gain first-hand experience of life working in the music industry with a variety of roles over the course of The Great Escape. These roles are available in many different areas including Venue Management, Technical Production, Convention Support, Festival Production, Delegate Registration, Artist Registration, Wristband Exchange...
Our amazing volunteers are the reason The Great Escape is such a successful festival for new music.
Why volunteer at TGE? This is a fantastic opportunity to take your first steps in the music industry, to make an impression on the industry, to be part of a leading festival recognised internationally. It’s also a place to meet new people, learn new skills and experience an event from the inside.
Benefits: TGE staff t-shirt, access to gigs, discounted prices at designated food concessions, TGE reference, invitation to closing party (provided all shifts have been completed), prize draw.
Requirements and Expectations:To be considered for a volunteer role, you need to be 18 by the 17th May 2017 and have the right to work in the UK. We are looking for people who are available for the 3 days of the festival from 18-20 May and can attend briefings & registration on 17 May.
We are looking for volunteers who are committed and reliable. We expect you to be friendly and helpful, to keep us informed of any problems or issues, and of course to… ENJOY! It may be fast paced at times but it’s also lots of fun!
If you want to be part of it, sign up NOW! Please make sure you answer all the questions and upload a clear passport-style photograph of yourself (no party pictures, no sunglasses or hats). Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Accommodation, transportation or cost reimbursement are not provided. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to their shifts and briefing/registration session.
Applying does not guarantee you will be selected to volunteer. Applicants will be notified of their application status via email no later than 21 April 2017. For more information about TGE, please visit our website http://greatescapefestival.com
To volunteer in the United Kingdom, you must have the right to work either through citizenship or a work visa. Under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act of 2006, we are required to check your right to work before we can allow you to volunteer with us.
IMPORTANT: You will need to show us the original document(s) before attending your briefing session if selected.
We appreciate your time and interest. You can now "Submit" and a message will appear in the next window confirming receipt of your application.
