The San Digo Film Festival has 5 different missions: 1) producing an annual film festival, 2) developing stimulating film-related events throughout the year, 3) supporting and nurturing student filmmaking programs in local schools, 4)  supporting the development of the local filmmaking industry and, 5) enhancing the economic growth of San Diego through tourism. They accomplish all of this by showing over 100 American and International films in the span of 5 days.

This year the opening night film features Reese Witherspoon on a 1,000 mile journey across the Pacific Crest Trail in “Wild.”

Make sure to catch the festival from September 24th – 28th. If you can, volunteer your time! There are opportunities year round in a multitude of positions. Check out more info and register here!
