The 2017 School Board Election is held on February 7, 2017.  Those interested in serving MUST complete the application or update fields in yellow. You must be 18 years of age or oldno later than January 9, 2017 via email..

Those wishing to work early voting MUST work Election Day. Early Voting shifts are Tues-Sat. You must specify a conflict with your schedule below.  Individuals who cancel an Election Day assignment after working Early Voting will NOT be assigned to Early Voting in future elections.

Please list any conflicts in your schedule here. Conflicts do NOT disqualify you from working.  However, you MUST list all conflicts. Applicants are asked to clear their calendar. Doctor appointments, school schedule, vacations, or the inability to work a certain number of hours must all be disclosed.  Conflicts disclosed after an assignment which affects scheduling may prompt removal from a shift altogether.  Example: I can’t work on ________ because I have classes on those days.

Alternates MUST attend training, fill in for any individual who is unable to perform his/her duties and must report as needed. Alternates are needed for early voting and Election Day.  On Election Day alternates must report to the Voting Machine Warehouse at 6 am.

Notice to Applicant - Please read before you click submit:

No individual is guaranteed an assignment.  Applicants agree to take a skill assessment as needed. The Bureau of Elections has discretion to dismiss any individual for failure to attend training, misbehavior, poor customer service, neglect of duty, or insubordination, etc.

Applicants must attend mandatory training and work as scheduled to receive the training stipend. Failure to complete the training and/or failure to report to an assigned Vote Center disqualifies individuals from receiving any compensation for services.

New PJ/EJ Applicants working Election Day only are required to attend On the Job Training (OTJT) at an early voting center for one full day. Presiding Judges and Messengers (if applicable) must have transportation to deliver election materials to an assigned Drop Zone on Election Night. Poll Officials work an average of 12.5 hours a day during Early Voting and 15 hours on Election Day.

Communication to all applicants is through email and/or text messaging. Applicants are  notified of skills assessments, training dates, training manuals/curriculum, and assignments through this online service. Applicants agree to give at least a two-week notice regarding any conflicts with scheduling.

Compensation that reaches $600 or over in the calendar year is subject to withholding.
