Frequently asked...
Q: What can I do to volunteer at SIFF?
A: There are hundreds of opportunities to volunteer before and during the Seattle International Film Festival.
SIFF is the largest film festival in the United States, utilizing over 1000 volunteers and we now operate year round
SIFF uses volunteers in almost every area of the festival from special events to print traffic.
We welcome your help in all these areas, but our BIGGEST NEED IS FOR USHERS.
SIFF fills well over 2,000 ushering shifts during the festival in addition to many other roles.
Ushers are on site at the venues doing everything from tearing tickets to wrangling lines of patrons.
To find out more about ushering at the festival see the what is ushering? page.
